The criminal case involving Clive Palmer's media adviser, a former AFL player and an ex-detective has been adjourned until later this year.

Media advisor Andrew Crook, former Sydney Swans player Tony Smith and retired Queensland detective Mick Featherstone were arrested after they allegedly lured to Indonesia an NAB employee who gave evidence in Smith's failed lawsuit against the bank.

Charges against them include attempting to pervert justice and intimidating a witness.
