Man dies in crash north of Brisbane

A Queensland man has been killed in a crash between a car and a motorbike north of Brisbane.

Paramedics were called to Ann St in Kallangur just before 2.30pm on Monday.

Police said the bike collided head on with a car and it's rider, a 44-year-old local man, died at the scene.

The car driver, a 20-year-old man, was taken to hospital with minor injuries and is assisting with police inquiries.

A forensic crash investigation has been launched.
