NZ woman safe after vanishing in Brisbane

A New Zealand woman who vanished while staying at a Brisbane backpacker's hostel has been found safe.

The 31-year-old, who has a medical condition, was last seen on Saturday near the Upper Roma Street hostel were she'd been staying.

Her worried parents arrived from New Zealand earlier this week, after their daughter's handbag was found near an art gallery but she's since been found safe, police said early on Wednesday.
