Nth Qld house raid nets massive drug haul

A raid on a north Queensland home has netted nearly $200,000 of cash and drugs.

No charges have been laid but police say they raided the house at Holloways Beach, near Cairns, on Tuesday in response to claims about an alleged drug trafficker operating in the area.

They allegedly uncovered dangerous drugs including methylamphetamine, cocaine, suspected heroin and ecstasy with a combined street value of about $80,000, as well as $117,000 in cash and a rifle.
