Stabbing murder accused case in Qld court

A NSW man accused of a stabbing murder in southern Queensland has had his case mentioned in a Brisbane court.

Mark Stephen Crump, 35, was extradited to Queensland over the weekend, accused of killing a 43-year-old man at Mundubbera last week.

He was not present when his case was mentioned in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Monday, when the matter was adjourned until September 19.

Crump faced the Orange Magistrates Court on Friday, where police sought his extradition.

Another NSW man, aged 70, is due to face the Dubbo Magistrates Court on Monday over the killing.

Formal charges are expected to be laid once both men are in Queensland.
