A man who allegedly stole more than 200 pieces of jewellery has been caught following a suburban police chase in north Queensland.
The 31-year-old, who is accused of taking 228 chains, bracelets and bangles from a Townsville store in late October, was spotted driving dangerously before police used tire spikes to thwart him on Wednesday afternoon.
He will appear in Townsville Magistrates Court on Thursday to face 25 stolen property and driving charges.
