Townsville fire jumps containment line

A bushfire near Townsville has jumped containment lines but no homes are under threat.

Four Queensland Fire and Emergency Services crews were on Tuesday afternoon battling the blaze at Cape Cleveland, which broke out on Sunday.

Ground crews and water bombers are also working to contain a fire near Rockhampton, while emergency services are monitoring a number of other fires around the state.
