A drug and weapons case against a Gold Coast hairdresser who uses social media to flaunt his lavish lifestyle has been mentioned in court.

Jon Pierre Kairouz, 33, was arrested and charged following a police raid on his Surfers Paradise unit on February 9.

Kairouz is alleged to have links with bikie gangs and uses an Instagram account to post photos of motorcycles, diamonds, luxury vehicles and travel.

Kairouz is facing two counts of possessing dangerous drugs and one count each of unlawful possession of restricted drugs, possess property and possess restricted weapons.

Police allegedly discovered $36,000 in cash, 28g of cocaine, ice and steroids during the raid.

Kairouz did not appear during Tuesday's mention at Southport Magistrates Court and the matter has been adjourned until March 17.
