Motorcyclist dies in Gold Coast crash

Police are appealing for information after a 51-year-old Gold Coast man died when his motorbike crashed into a drain.

Officers were called to Tallebudgera Creek Rd near Gibsonville St about 11.20am on Thursday, but investigations suggest the crash happened about five hours earlier.

Anyone with dash cam footage who travelled through the area is being urged to contact police.
