Missing Qld man may be croc victim

Police are still searching for a 65-year-old man feared taken by a crocodile in a far north Queensland river.

It's believed Stanley Charlie entered the Endeavour River at Cooktown before he went missing on May 20.

A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman confirmed police conducted land and air searches on Saturday.

Aerial surveys and water police investigations were continuing in the crocodile-infested area, she said.
