Police divers search for man in swollen outback Queensland dam
A man who failed to resurface from a dam in Queensland's south-west yesterday afternoon remains missing more than 24 hours later.
Police, SES, Queensland Fire and Rescue and swift water rescue crews began the search of EJ Beardmore Dam in St George just after 2pm yesterday, before it was suspended overnight.
The search resumed at 6am today and is continuing.

Authorities have asked locals to avoid attempting to join the search as the terrain is dangerous.
Police say they are doing everything they can to locate the missing man.

EJ Beardmore Dam is at 102.54 per cent capacity, according to Sunwater.
