Missing Austrian tourist found in Qld

An Austrian tourist who went missing in Mackay after trying to get to Uluru has been found, Queensland police say.

Sabrina Peterstorfer, 50, set off from Mount Pleasant on Sunday morning, but sparked a police search because she had limited access to money and no mobile phone.

Police said she was found on Milton Street, near the Mackay airport, on Tuesday and was safe and well.
