Mental health test for Qld arson accused

A man will undergo a mental health assessment after allegedly setting fire to a Brisbane home while his neighbour was inside.
Rodin Archie Belbin, 44, faced the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Saturday on charges of arson and burglary over the alleged incident at Strathpine on Friday morning, which forced a 60-year-old man to evacuate his house when smoke started coming through the floorboards.
Belbin did not apply for bail and will reappear in the Pine Rivers Magistrates Court on May 14.
