Men wanted over attempted Qld abduction

Police have released comfit images of two men wanted over an attempted abduction near a north Queensland school.

A nine-year-old boy was walking along a street near Townsville's Willows State School last month when two men pulled up beside him in a white Mazda sedan and one told him to "get in".

The driver is aged about 30, with a large build, fair complexion and brown hair, and was wearing a black t-shirt and light blue and green Oakley sunglasses.

The passenger is in his late 20s, with a muscular build, tanned skin, brown hair and a dark freckle on his right cheek. He was wearing a yellow and navy shirt.
