Men rob Qld shop with sledgehammer, axe

Police are hunting two men who held up a supermarket in Brisbane's east while wielding an axe and a sledgehammer.

The men stormed the Manly store on Tuesday morning, grabbed a female attendant and stole the cash drawer.

They fled the Cambridge Parade store in a white Holden Commodore.

The female attendant was unhurt.

Both men were wearing black hoodies with dark shirts over their faces.
