Men, girl found after Qld search

Rescuers have found two men and a three-year-old girl who'd been missing in part of far north Queensland cut off by flooding.

Authorities learned the group was missing on Monday afternoon, after they left Kuranda, northwest of Cairns, for a property further inland near Mount Surprise.

A rescue chopper spotted the trio late on Monday afternoon and they were flown, safe and well, to Mr Surprise.
