Sister of McLeod’s Daughters star found dead after desperate search

The sister of Australian actor Simmone Jade Mackinnon has died, police say, following a desperate public appeal to find her.
The McLeod’s Daughters star posted an urgent message and photo to Instagram on Monday pleading for help to locate her sister, Kym Mackinnon.

The 51-year-old was last seen on Guanaba Road at Tamborine Mountain, south of Brisbane.
"Have you seen my sister?" Mackinnon wrote.
"Please share this post ESPECIALLY if you are in Queensland."

In a statement to nine.com.au, Queensland Police confirmed a body was found at Tamborine Mountain.
Police say the death is not suspicious.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
