Man, woman stabbed in Cairns

A woman will front court on Tuesday charged over a knife attack on two people at the Cairns apartment complex they share.

The woman, 51, is facing two charges of wounding after allegedly attacking the pair at the Sheridan Street property on Monday afternoon.

A woman, 54, was stabbed in the stomach and a man, 64, slashed on the arm. Police say all three lived at the complex and were known to each other.
