Man uses meat cleaver in Qld robbery

A man has used a meat cleaver to threaten staff at a Townsville convenience store.

The man allegedly stole cash from the tills after threatening a 22-year-old man and 16-year-old girl behind the counter at the Oonoonba store around 9am on Saturday.

Nobody was injured and police are still hunting the armed robber.
