Man told woman he had gun, then stole car

A man claiming to have a gun has threatened a woman in a carjacking at a Sunshine Coast shopping centre.

Police say the woman had just parked at the Maroochydore shops on Monday morning when the man opened her door and told her he was armed.

The car was then driven dangerously and nearly collided with another car.

A 19-year-old man is being interviewed by police.
