Armed robbery spree for cars worries cops

A man has committed carjackings, armed hold-ups and a home invasion during a 28-hour crime spree Brisbane's south side.

The robber allegedly used a handgun to steal a car and credit cards from another man while he was in the front yard of his Goodna home on Monday night and soon after pulled a shot gun on a driver at Yeronga and stole his car as well, police say.

Early on Wednesday morning, the same man is believed to have invaded a home in Robertson where he used a shotgun to demand the keys to a 2015 Jeep Cherokee.

Superintendent Jim Keogh said the man attempted to access a credit card at Redbank Plains Tavern before invading the home at Robertson.

He said the man has accomplices who steal the cars after he confronts the victims with a gun.

"There is the possibility they will strike again unless we strike first," Mr Keogh said.

All three cars are still missing.
