Man hit by truck 'while changing his tyre' on the Cunningham Highway in Yamanto, southeast Queensland

A 50-year-old man has been struck by a truck, reportedly while changing his tyre, on the Cunningham Highway in Yamanto, in southeast Queensland.

He is understood to have suffered injuries to his chest and the Rescue 500 helicopter has been dispatched to take him to hospital.

The Cunningham Highway has been closed in both directions at Deebing Creek, Yamanto.
