Man stabbed with chisel in Townsville

A man has been stabbed in the stomach and arm with a chisel during a fight on a Townsville street.

Police allege one man produced the tool and stabbed another man after they got into an argument at South Townsville just after 9.30pm on Monday.

They allege the 35-year-old attacker fled, but he was quickly caught and charged with wounding, while his alleged victim, 32, is recovering in hospital.
