Man stabbed multiple times on Gold Coast

A man has been stabbed multiple times by a woman in his Gold Coast home.

Police say the woman, who was known to the man, walked up the the door of the 36-year-old's Coomera unit and confronted him about 10.30pm on Friday.

She then allegedly stabbed him multiple times with a small knife before running away.

The man suffered puncture wounds to his abdomen and was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Investigations are continuing and no one has been arrested.
