Brisbane man charged with stabbing brother

A man will face court charged with stabbing his older brother multiple times in Brisbane.

The man stabbed his sibling in the chest and arms after a fight broke out between the pair at a house in Morningside late on Monday night, Queensland police say.

The older man, aged 43, is undergoing surgery at Princess Alexandra Hospital but his injuries are not considered life threatening.

His 40-year-old brother has been charged with unlawful wounding and is due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
