Man stabbed in chest on Cape York

A man is fighting for life in hospital after he was stabbed in the chest in a Cape York community.
The 55-year-old was airlifted to Cairns Hospital in a critical condition after the stabbing at Old Mapoon, in the northern cape, early on Thursday morning.
Police are investigating but believe he was stabbed following a disturbance at a nearby property.
