Man shot in leg in disturbance at Qld home

A man has reportedly been shot in the leg during a disturbance in the up-market Brisbane suburb of Ascot.

Initial reports suggest the 30-year-old man was taken to hospital early on Tuesday morning in a stable condition with a stab wound, but new information suggest the wound may have been inflicted by a gun, police said.

A woman is assisting police with the investigation, but it is unclear whether she was known to the victim.
