Man missing after assault on Gold Coast

A gun was possibly fired as a group of men assaulted another man on the Gold Coast, police say.

The victim is yet to be located but investigators have found a white BMW believed linked to him at a Coolangatta sports club near where the attack happened on Tuesday night.

Police believe a group of men in a dark-coloured four-wheel drive and dark-coloured utility were involved, with both vehicles seen speeding from the scene.
