Man killed in Qld crash

An elderly man has died in a single vehicle crash southwest of Mackay.
Police said the 80-year-old's ute hit a tree in Clermont on Wednesday afternoon, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver is the sixth fatality on Queensland's roads in under 48 hours.
