Man killed by lightning bolt in north Qld

A man has died after being struck by lightning in Queensland's far north.
The man was struck in the electrical storm around 3.15pm on a rural property west of Normanton in the Gulf of Carpentaria.
Ambulance and police crews rushed to the station but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
