Man in custody over wife's murder in Qld

A man remains in custody after allegedly killing his wife in a frenzied stabbing attack at their southeast Queensland home.
Arona Peniamina, 35, underwent surgery for injuries to his arms late on Friday, hours after being charged with murder at a bedside hearing at Redcliffe Hospital.
The New Zealand citizen is accused of repeatedly stabbing his wife Sandra Peniamina at their Kippa Ring home late Thursday night.

The 29-year-old's children, aged between five and 10, were believed to be sleeping at the house when she died in the driveway.
Peniamina is due to face Redcliffe Magistrates Court via videolink on April 18.
