Manhunt continues after Brisbane shooting

A man accused of shooting two people in Brisbane after a dispute about a bicycle remains on the run.

Police say they want to talk to Brendyn Clark, 38, over Saturday's shooting and warn he may be armed.

A 46-year-old man was shot six times and a 25-year-old woman was shot once in the leg from the verandah of a Sunnybank Hills home on Saturday evening.

Police are trying to establish a motive for the attack.

"What we can determine so far is that it was a dispute over a pushbike," Detective Inspector Craig Morrow told reporters.

The bicycle had been sawn in half and part of it was still missing.

"We have half of the bike at the moment ... we don't know where the other half is," he said.

Brendon-James Edward Morrissey, 24, was arrested a couple of hours after the shooting in nearby suburb Doolandella.

Morrissey's matter was mentioned in court on Monday and he will return to court on July 22.

He was remanded in custody accused of being an accessory after the fact to attempted murder and 16 other charges including possessing three guns, a silencer, ammunition, a stun gun and drugs.

Both shooting victims remain in hospital.
