Man hit by boom in Qld worksite accident

A man has serious injuries after being hit in the head by a piece of machinery at a work site south of Brisbane.
The 30-year-old suffered head injuries, as well as a broken shoulder and leg when he was hit by a hydraulic boom in the Logan suburb of Park Ridge about 8am on Monday.
He's in a serious condition in the Princess Alexandra Hospital, the ambulance service says.
