Man hit after pulling over on Qld motorway

A man has been seriously injured after pulling into a service lane on a Brisbane motorway and being hit by another car.

The 27-year-old had exited his car and was at the rear of the vehicle when a second car pulled into the same service lane and hit him at speed on the Centenary Motorway in Richlands about 5.30pm on Thursday.

Police say there was no suggestion it was a road rage incident but are yet to interview the second driver, 47, who suffered minor injuries in the collision.
