Man falls off Qld heritage building roof

A man has fallen about eight metres from the roof of a heritage-listed building in central Queensland.

The man, in his 60s, appears to have become stuck on another part of Rockhampton's multi-level Masonic Hall.

He will be retrieved by firefighters using a hydraulic ladder once they have the all-clear from paramedics, a Queensland Fire Emergency Service spokeswoman said.
