Man extradited to Qld over explosives

A 32-year-old man is to be extradited from NSW to Queensland over the discovery of a stockpile of chemical explosives at a west Brisbane home in 2014.

The man, who is understood to have lived at the Pullenvale home before falling behind in the rent, is due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Thursday afternoon on explosives and property charges.

Police allege they were called to the Red Cedar Road house on August 13, 2014 and located suspicious items.
