Man dies in Qld house fire

A man is dead following a house fire north of Brisbane.

Emergency services were called to the fire in Bray Park about 6pm on Saturday and found a man's body inside.

Neighbours reported hearing an argument coming from the home before a window shattering and a loud pop, News Corp reported.

The fire was the second fatal blaze in Queensland on Saturday, after an elderly man died in a house fire earlier in Southern Downs.

The man, aged in his 80s, was found in the blackened debris of a Warwick home about 2am.

Two women - one aged in her 70s and the other in her 30s - were taken to hospital as a precaution.

Neither fire is being treated as suspicious.
