Man dies, child hurt in Qld crashes

A motorcyclist has died and a young girl has been seriously injured in separate road crashes in Queensland.

A man, believed to be aged in his 50s, was killed after his motorcycle collided with another vehicle near Mount Morgan in central Queensland at 3pm on Friday.

About an hour later, a five-year-old girl was hit by a car in Boronia Heights, Logan City.

She was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
