Man dies after hitting head during fight

A man has been charged with murder after a man who fell down stairs during a fight died in hospital.

Brent Anthony Seymour, 41, was initially charged with attempted murder following the incident at Enoggera on Sunday.

However the charge was upgraded in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Monday morning after the 50-year-old alleged victim died from head injuries.

Seymour will reappear in court on October 10.
