Man dies after hitting head during fight

A man has died in hospital from critical head injuries after falling down stairs during a fight in Brisbane's north.

The 50-year-old man was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital on Sunday afternoon after the incident at Enoggera, but died early on Monday.

A 41-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder, but this is expected to be upgraded to murder when he appears in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Monday.
