Man dies after being hit by truck in Qld

A man has died after he was hit by a truck on the Sunshine Coast.

Police say the pedestrian was struck on Nambour Connection Road at Woombye about 2.30am on Wednesday morning and died at the scene.

"The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the incident and is appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have dashcam footage of the area at the time, to contact Crime Stoppers," police said.
