Man detained for smoking on flight

A man has been detained by police at a Queensland airport after allegedly refusing cabin crew requests to stop smoking an e-cigarette on a flight from Sydney to the Gold Coast.
Police boarded the commercial plane at the Sunshine Coast Airport at Marcoola on Thursday evening to confront the man.
A 37-year-old Caboolture man was issued with a notice to appear in court for the offence of smoking on an aircraft.
