Man denies cruelty over dogs in hot car

A north Queensland man whose dog had to be euthanised after it was allegedly left in his scorching car has pleaded not guilty to animal cruelty.
Graham John Oakes allegedly left two dogs in the car to attend court on a hot January day in Cairns.
He pleaded not guilty to two charges of animal cruelty on Friday and is due to reappear on March 30.
