Man detained over Brisbane stabbing death

Police have detained a man following a fatal stabbing in Brisbane.

Paramedics were called to Birdwood Road in Holland Park West just after 3pm on Monday where two men had become involved in a verbal argument before one was stabbed in the abdomen.

The 43-year-old died at the scene, while the other man was found by police nearby shortly after.
