Two people die on north Queensland roads

A woman is dead after a car towing a trailer rolled in Queensland's north.
The vehicle left the Flinders Highway and crashed at Dotswood near Charters Towers about 7am on Saturday.
The 59-year-old driver from Kelso died at the scene while two other adults and a child were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

It was the second fatality on north Queensland roads in a matter of hours.
Police are investigating after a 48-year-old man was killed when his car hit a tree at Trinity Beach, north of Cairns, just before midnight on Friday.
