Man dead after car slams into pole in Qld

A man is dead and two others are hurt after the vehicle they were in slammed into a power pole in central Queensland.
The passenger died at the scene of the crash on Port Alma Road at Bajool in Rockhampton on Monday afternoon.
The driver suffered minor injuries, while the other passenger sustained serious leg injuries.
