Man critical after vase attack in Logan

A teenager is in a critical condition in hospital after he was attacked with a metal vase at a home in Logan, in southeast Queensland.

The 19-year-old suffered serious face and head injuries in the attack, which happened about 6.30am on Sunday at Crestmead.

Police said a woman at the residence was also assaulted and a vehicle and mobile phone were damaged.

A 21-year-old Waterford West man is due to appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Monday charged with grievous bodily harm, assault occasioning bodily harm and two counts of wilful damage.
