Driver dies in Sunshine Coast crash

A man has died in a single-vehicle crash on the Sunshine Coast, the second death on Queensland roads in 24 hours.

The 63-year-old man was the sole occupant of the vehicle which crashed into a tree on Scotts Road, Booroobin. He died at the scene.

It follows the death of a 53-year-old man who was struck by a car in Thompson Street, Deception Bay just before 10pm on Tuesday.
