AAP
A man allegedly stole a prime mover west of Brisbane before leading police on a low-speed chase and then crashing a short time later near Amberley Air Base.
Police say the 31-year-old man stole the truck from a property on the Warrego Highway around 5.35am on Tuesday, driving it through a fence.
A motorcycle officer attempted to intercept the vehicle but it failed to stop and police continued to track and follow at low speed.

The truck left the road a short time later and came to rest in a paddock just off Hanson Road, near the air base.
The 31-year-old man was charged with 12 offences and was due to appear in Ipswich Magistrates Court on Tuesday afternoon.
