Man charged with assaulting Qld police

A Queensland man who allegedly pulled a shotgun on police officers when they tried to taser him has been charged.

Police said the 21-year-old refused to obey instructions after threatening people at a home in Logan City, south of Brisbane, early on Thursday morning, and pulled out a shotgun after an officer tried to taser him.

He threw the weapon into the air during a struggle with police.

The Loganlea man is expected to appear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Friday to face several charges, including serious police assault.
